  4. APPLE SCRIPTS
  5. GrabNet 1.0 has limited AppleScript capabilities.  We have included three scripts in the AppleScripts folder inside your GrabNet folder that make use of this capability when using the Netscape Navigator browser.  The AppleScripts folder includes the following:

  7. •    Save URL to GrabNet
  8. This script saves the current URL of the Netscape Navigator browser to the current GrabNet catalog.  If there is no current GrabNet catalog, the URL will be placed in the Inbox.

  10. • Paste Clipboard to GrabNet
  11. This script pastes the contents of the clipboard with the current URL of the Netscape Navigator browser to the current GrabNet catalog.  If there is no current GrabNet catalog, the URL will be placed in the Inbox.

  13. • Screen Capture to GrabNet
  14. This script captures an area of the screen and then automatically pastes the image with the current URL of the Netscape Navigator browser to the current GrabNet catalog.  If there is no current GrabNet catalog, the URL will be placed in the Inbox.

  16. APPLE SCRIPTS REQUIREMENTS
  17. You must have AppleScript installed on your computer for these scripts to run.  To use them,  simply launch the script from your favorite Scripting utility while Netscape Navigator and GrabNet are running.  (Our favorite utility is OSA Menu, a freeware extension that allows you to add a Script menu to any application and to the Finder.  It available at ftp://ftp.hawaii.edu/mirrors/info-mac/UserInterface/osa-menu-101.hqx among other places.)
